Jumeirah has received a top accolade at the 2007 World Traveller Awards from World Traveller Magazine, in China.
Jumeirah HanTang Xintiandi was proud and honoured to be named Shanghai's ‘Most Expected Hotel' by a panel of professional media specialists, members of the industry elite and World Traveller Magazine readers.
Jumeirah was selected for the award due to the group's innovative plans for the property including; investment in groundbreaking architecture, unique and innovative attractions and incorporation of historical elements from both the Han & Tang dynasties.
Doris Greif, General Manager, Jumeirah Han Tang Xintiandi who attended the ceremony and received the award on behalf of the hotel said: "Jumeirah HanTang Xintiandi will redefine luxury hotel standards in China and will be the most prominent and prestigious new hotel development in the downtown Luwan district of Shanghai. The award follows Jumeirah HanTang Xintiandi's recent roof topping ceremony and announcement that it has completed the construction phase of its first hotel in Asia, a significant milestone in the lead up to its scheduled opening date in August 2008.
