Luxury hotel group, von Essen hotels has installed Quadriga's Sensiq guest communications portal into its first luxury city-based hotel in London.

The sensational Hotel Verta, which opened on 12 September 2010, has selected Quadriga's Sensiq to reinforce its lavish and luxury image via the in-room TV, to its celebrity and presidential clientele, enabling the ultimate guest experience and ensuring every expectation is exceeded.

Hotel Verta is the world's first integrated heliport hotel, allowing guests to arrive in style at the exclusive establishment. Every element of the hotel has been designed to promote a sense of luxury, class and sophistication, mixing old world glamour with classic modernity.

Quadriga worked with Hotel Verta to tailor Sensiq to support their unique brand and state-of-the-art image, and to integrate their own specific content to promote von Essen services and hotel facilities directly on the TV to guests in their rooms. This includes the von Essen shop, the elegant Patrisey Restaurant and the tranquil Spa Verta. In addition to the hotel services, guests can access information about the other hotels in the von Essen group, local information about what's on and what to do in London, as well as a private jet and helicopter charter service – all provided by direct web links.

During their visit, guests benefit from WiFi internet available throughout the hotel as well as in-room wired internet access. Guests can select from a choice of time and speed options to meet their specific needs, ensuring they receive a high quality, reliable service at all times.

Additionally each of Hotel Verta's 70 bedrooms are fitted with bespoke connectivity panels to enable guests to connect their own portable gadgets; such as an iPad, mobile phone and digital camera to the LCD TV's, using Bluetooth technology, further supporting the hotel's high-end image.

Andrew Onraet, creative director at von Essen hotels, explains: "von Essen hotels has historically specialised in traditional country house hotels, and the Hotel Verta is the first establishment in our Metropolitan portfolio. For this reason, we needed a state-of-the-art guest communications solution which reflected the unique design, branding, location and architecture of the hotel. The Quadriga solution was a perfect fit. It is fully customisable, so can be tailored to match the look and feel of the hotel, and we can also use it to promote internal and external services which will be of interest to our high calibre guests."

Marc Budie, technology director at Quadriga adds: "Hotel Verta is slick, stylish and glamorous, and it was essential that it selected an in-room guest communications solution to fully reflect this image. The hi-tech combination of the Sensiq guest communications portal, a flexible internet service throughout the hotel, Bluetooth and the connectivity panels ensures that Hotel Verta can deliver the ultimate guest experience, fully supporting its unique brand image."
