Meetings, Incentives, Convention and Exhibition form an important part of tourism and Dubai – as the regional hub for exhibition and conference business – has been attracting a large pool of business travelers to Dubai.

Dubai Convention Bureau (DCB), part of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) has been at the forefront in bringing in international business travelers and in inward travel missions over the last few years.

With the recent opening of two DCB representative offices in mainland China, DCB has embarked on a series of activities to develop MICE opportunities for Dubai stakeholders.

The first Chinese Study Mission, bringing major MICE agents from Beijing, took place at the end of February while the second one from Shanghai, took place the first week of March.

Altogether, the MICE agents have the potential to bring in a total of 4000 delegates to Dubai in the next two years.

Partnering with Grosvenor House, Media Rotana, Shangri-La, Al Manzil, SNTTA , and Alpha Tours, DCB put together an entertaining and informative itinerary for a market eager to understand the destination better.
