Starwood introduces online ratings and reviews.

Starwood invites guests to give ratings and reviews on its hotel websites and through the hotel reservation confirmation, Starwood ensures that all feedback are from guests who actually stayed at the hotel.

Starwood Preferred Guest Senior Vice President, Chris Holden, was quoted in AsiaTravelTips.com as having said that their goal is to provide everything a guest needs to select and book their best hotel experience and there no better place to offer this information than on their own website.

Holden added that Starwood's new ratings and reviews platform provides a valuable new way for guests to learn from the experiences of fellow travellers.

Guests can contribute ratings and reviews on different criteria, including Overall Rating, Room Comfort, Staff Met My Needs, Room Cleanliness and SPG Recognition.

Guests who are planning their stay can also create a more personalised experience by filter the reviews to see the information that is relevant to them.
